At Stockingford Medical Centre, we believe your mental wellbeing is just as important as your physical health. As part of the Apollo Warwickshire North PCN, we offer access to specialist Mental Health Practitioners.
What is a Mental Health Practitioner? They are highly experienced mental health professionals who work alongside Dr. Agrawal. Their role is to provide a "bridge" between the GP surgery and specialist mental health services.
How they can help you:

Expert Assessment: If you are struggling with low mood, anxiety, or more complex mental health needs, they can provide a detailed initial assessment.

Short-term Support: They can offer coping strategies and tools to help you manage your mental health and wellbeing.

Specialist Referral: If you need longer-term therapy or support from community mental health teams, they can ensure you are referred to the right service quickly.
How to book: You do not need a GP appointment to be referred. If you are struggling, please submit an Accurx online request or speak to our reception team. They will ensure your request is reviewed and, if appropriate, book you in for a consultation with the Apollo PCN Mental Health team.
Note: This service is for patients aged 18+ (or 16+ depending on the specific practitioner). For children and young people, we typically refer to the local RISE service.
