Urgent Mental Health Help (Crisis Support)

If you or someone else is in immediate danger of harm or has already self-harmed, please call 999 or go to your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis but it is not a life-threatening emergency, please use the following services:

1. Call NHS 111 and select 'Mental Health'

You can call 111 from any phone at any time. Select the mental health option (Option 2) to be connected to a trained mental health professional who can offer immediate support and connect you to local crisis teams. This service is free and available 24/7 for all ages.

2. Text 'SHOUT' to 85258

If you prefer not to speak on the phone, you can text SHOUT to 85258. This is a free, confidential, 24/7 text messaging service for anyone struggling to cope. It will not appear on your phone bill.

3. During Surgery Hours

If you need to speak to a GP urgently about your mental health during our opening hours (8:00 am – 6:30 pm), please call us on 024 76386344
