At Stockingford Medical Centre, we are here to help. Domestic abuse is not just physical violence; it includes emotional, financial, and sexual abuse, as well as coercive control. If you are being hurt or controlled by a partner, ex-partner, or family member, you can talk to us in total confidence.

How we can support you:

  • Private Conversations: You can speak to any of our GPs or Nurses. We will ensure the conversation is private and will not judge you.

  • Safe Referrals: We can connect you with specialist support workers who can help with safety planning, housing, and legal advice.

  • Confidentiality: We take your privacy seriously. However, we have a duty to act if we believe a child or vulnerable adult is at risk of serious harm.
